The employees were working hard from the time I came in, while I was there eating up until I left. I ordered the loud pack with extra crack sauce and that sauce add an extra layer of flavor to the food. ”

“ Pleasantly surprised. I went in thinking this is an aid down restaurant. You have to order at the counter then get a table they will call your number when it is ready. The cashier focused us on the happy hour items. Which we needed up getting 1lb crab legs which came with nothing and we also got the 1lb peeled shrimp that came with a potato and corn we thought they both came with the sides. The mild was full of flavor and the spicy was really well flavored. I went back and got okra, cole slaw, Cajun fries and potato salad. The okra was light small pieces, the cole slaw was crisp and fresh. It wasn't drowning in sauce. The Cajun fries were seasoned well. The part that makes the stars go down is the service. The front girl was rushing and impatient. When they called your number they just kind were like hurry up already. They were more focused on having fun at work than getting food out. Visiting with friends who were by the way blocking the drink machine. When they forgot one of my sides it took forever to get it and instead of bringing it out to me they just kept yelling Miss, Miss like I am supposed to know it is me. If you plan of getting crab bring some crackers with you, it is really hard to eat without them. ”

“ Decided to try Lotus after it being on my bucket list to visit. Our party decided to get the combo plus fries and the loaded pack. The combo included Texas toast, fried catfish, fried oysters, fried shrimp and fries. The fully loaded pack was also really yummy and I definitely recommend with the crack sauce. The daquiri was sweet definitely not too strong but great to sip and eat. I would recommend getting the crack sauce with your purchase! ”

“ Finally got to visit Lotus Seafood after seeing posts of pics all over Instagram. Online ordering via their website was convenient and simple and my order was packed and ready to go when I arrived. I ordered a Fully Loaded Loud Pack ($21). It came with Fried Rice with Crawfish topped with tons of Shrimp, 1 Corn, 1 Potato, 1 Egg and 1 Sausage. In addition, I ordered 2 Crack Sauce packets (.75 each) although it did come with 1 packet. The portion was quite generous and everything was absolutely delicious! I'm wimpy when it comes to spice so I decided to go for the Medium (2nd option) rather than Mild. It wasn't overwhelmingly spicy but it sure did have quite a kick. The crack sauce was also the perfect addition to everything and added so much flavor. I loved it all. Wish they'd make a location closer to Austin so I could visit more often! ”
